Entrepreneurial Visit

On the last Wednesday our group from SAK2_Section1 went for an entrepreneurial visit for the subject of Logistics. The aim of the visit is to allow us to gain a better understanding of the course subject we are taking and it may be useful to us in the near future. Overall we went to three places which is located in Klang area. They were, the North Port and West Port and also the Customs Department. A group of 48 students inclusive of 2 tutors from our Faculty went for the trip. The trip is not only for vacation purposes but we are obliged to write a report on the topics that we are assigned to. It is a painstaking task as we need to complete a 20- 25 pages of report exclusive of appendices. But overall the trip was an enjoyable one except we did not have much time to go for shopping.

Recently i have received an email with the subject

"October 17, 2008 Sun will rise for 1.5 days(36 hours)".

Once i read the content of the email i asked myself is this event true? Could possible the earth stop rotation on it's axis for this event to happen? If it would really happen i think that the life on earth would all die because if the Earth were to stop rotating we would be Supermans flying round the globe! I searched on the internet to find more articles on the subject and could not find any on our local newspapers. But to my amazement the news was spread thorough the world by emails and blogs like mine. Haha. In the email, it was said that in the United Stated they will have 1.5 days of night. Many comments were given by users on the web some saying that this is ridiculous and is only a joke and some take it seriously that it would happen. They take in the NASA and some gave their own personal expert views. Anyways I would anticipate for the day to come as it is only 4 days away. Seriously, if it is going to happen, I hope that we could have 1.5 days of night instead of sunrise.
