Query: Are we the So Called ENTREPRENEURS??

Before I start blogging I would like to apologize for the following contents that I will be penning down if I ever offend anyone who reads. I do not intend to condemn or bring down the name of anyone nor anything. What am I about to write is about the efficiency and effectiveness of the faculty that I am currently studying in which is the Faculty of ENTREPRENEURSHIP and BUSINESS. I hope you can READ how I feel. This is my third semester studying in University Malaysia Kelantan and the motto “Entrepreneurship Is Our Thrust” is still resounding in my ears clearly. From my observation, we are not in any ways entrepreneurial at all. This saddened me a lot.. I’m sorry I had to post here because everything I did elsewhere did not work.. so what’s the harm trying here right? Point your mouse over to the top right and click the “X” button if I offended you^^ Peace

To all my course mates who are in the same faculty as me, did you guys ever wondered why we still don’t have an Entrepreneurship Club of our own after three semesters? This has troubled me for some time. We are always in the constitution process and then it just went silent after that. Other faculties have already established their club proudly in the first semester and we are just starting from scratch. How entrepreneur is that? Their students came up with magazines of their own of course with the help from lecturers and tutors and had already done a trip to somewhere. Instead, I have totally no idea where did our magazine come from. It seemed to appear out from nowhere. Magic?

The thing is why is it that every time we wanted to hold an event, the notice will only be up the very night before instead of giving us some grace period to prepare ourselves with such event? Whose fault was is and who is it to blame? Ideas, anyone?? I was a member of the constitution and it was stated that any notices should be given for at least a 2 DAYS period or else it won’t be viable. Everything seemed to be done in haste. Do you see any quality there? Well, I don’t. Again, here I would like to strain that this is only from my point of view and do not be influenced with whatever that I am saying.

Recently, we had an Annual General Meeting for the very first time and the committee members are all selected that night with presence of over 80 members of FKP. But to my surprise was our club was not even legal. Is that a joke? We did not have a proposal to establish the club nor a constitution and its high council. We are asked to run a club with no proper papers. But we had an AGM instead. It’s just like becoming a manager in a company without being hired. LOLz.

If we were to compare our club in a scale of 1 to 10 with ten the highest, I would give it a mere 3 with its current situation. I sincerely hope bloggers out there can give me some comments, feedbacks, critics maybe on this situation. Seriously, please do not holdback your comments as I maybe very blind to see get the picture that FKP is trying to paint. Is that Malaysian work culture? How Malaysian’s work I should say.
